I did not adjust the sights although I probably should. I normally shoot a little left of the target - this revolver shot slightly right. The elevation was right. I shot some mixed brass with Winchester small pistol primer and W231 propellant. The bullets are 125 grain plated flat point from Berry's. Slightly dirty load, I will try increasing the amount of powder next time. The first five are shown.

I highly approve, 19!

Do what you want, but I’d be throwing a little more coal in the furnace.

I am reloading the ammo with a little more W231. So it will be 4.8 grains instead of 4.7. Going to try that. My manual says 5.0 is the max. Lyman 4th Edition.

This is the first time I've seen a snub revolver with adjustable sights . I assume this is not common...was it a special order at one time ?

My understanding is that a dealer ordered several hundred of them which caused S&W to make it. I will post a letter when I get it although other members might know more than me.

S&W had several J frame snubs with target sights. I have a Model 60-4, a 36-6 & even a 2 inch model 34. All are accurate with decent grips on them.

Enjoy,

Al
