Well I made it to the range with my first batch of reloads. I must say I am extremely happy!!! I used 4.0 G. of Unique under a home cast 158 G. RN. They preformed great!! I cleaned the gun and it did not have any leading so I guess my homemade beeswax lube did its job!!

I want to thank everyone who helped me along in this process!!! I am hooked!!

Nice shooting! Looks like you did better freehand than from a rest.

Yup I did, the 21 foot one was my first string of 6, I'll admit I was a tad nervous, I was hoping I did everything right with the reloads. I calmed down on the 30 ft target and was happy with that. Then I reeled it in to 15 feet and made sure I paid attention to all I know about shooting and was very pleased.

Well now you've done it.. You have eliminated all of your excuses for bad shooting in the future....;)

Nice shooting.

You done good. Unfortunately, girl friends and wives don't like this hobby as it takes time from them...that's why I have a dog.

My wife proclaims she is a "hunting widow" when archery season rolls around and will "see him again at Christmas."

Last week she told my visiting parents that now she's a "reloading widow" and that I should just sleep in the friggin basement with the bullets. So, my question is....does Lee make a single stage matress or am I gonna have to spring for a progressive here?

On topic...very nice groups. I have had similar results with .38 special loads of ~4.7 grains of unique and a Missouri bullet 158 LSWC.

Very nice shooting.

Satisfying finding a good shooting load that you've worked up.
