New 15-22 ser#DUA**** with blue spring with old mags. Shot 1 box of 525 Federal Value Pack and had no FTE or miss fires but had at least 25 stove pipes.

Any hints on how to get rid of the stove pipes?

"Stove pipe" is what?

Failure to eject (empty case sticking like a stovepipe out of the ejection port)?

Failure to feed (live cartridge sticking up out of the magazine and looking nothing like a stovepipe)?

Did you clean your gun before taking it out for the first time?

its the ammo. I had the same problem. I switched to mini mags and it cleared up. These guns are crazy... some work with any ammo... some are ammo sensitive. I give up.

if it runs with the mini mags remove the hammer spring and bend the legs to about a 4o'clock position and reinstall this will remove some drag from the action and allow you to shoot weaker ammo.. or you can order the j&p spring kit and install it.. cost is around 10 bucks.. but you may wanna read the thread on here called ejector and watch the video on how to adjust yours.. hope this helps
