Went out to the range this morning to watch the Speed Steel competition and took the 15-22 along. This DTE-xxxx example has about 600+ rounds through it now - I've had it for 11 months.
In the past I've had some FTF issues, but lately, it's been doing quite well. Thanks to you folks! I've been diligent in my loading techniques, as well as cleaning and lubrication. Today, I fired 80 rounds through it (big deal, eh?). 4 magazines with 20 rds each. 36 gr CCI hi-vel, and 40 gr CCI sub-sonic. Both types of ammo worked faultlessly in the little carbine. I've been loading 20 rounds in my magazines (I've got 8 of the early style mags), and often have several loaded at the ready. While I don't worry too much about the effect that setting around loaded has on the mags, I am thorough about breaking them down, cleaning and inspecting after each each trip to the range. So far, I've been more than pleased with this gun, any problems I've had have been of my own making. :)
Regards,
Bill

Pushing my luck

BTW, I failed to mention in my earlier post that things were going so well that I went ahead and used the magazine as a monopod (fully expecting to induce a feeding problem). It didn't miss a beat.

Your not shooting it enough. Mine likes about 300 or more each time it goes to the range. Maybe it's just me.
