Range Report

I took my grandfather's S&W 38 top break to the range today. I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with it. I was lucky to get it on the paper. It is going to be relegated to the safe.

it is pretty cool that you got to shoot your GF's pistol...that is a nice old gun...

I would not be comfortable using it as a nightstand gun, I might be able to hit the door from 10 ft. but that's about it. I shot from 20 ft at the range, got all on the paper but no consistency at all, kicked pretty good to for such a low power load.
