Range report

Had to drop the teeny bopper at her job in the mall, so I figured I’d make a range trip out of it too. Took the newly converted Mauser M2 10mm, the Sig P239, and the S&W 342. That Mauser is a sweet shooting gun, even if I can only get 8 rounds in the 10 round mag, even after drilling and filing down the bumps that held the spacer in place. I think the follower is binding up with the spacer missing, but there aren’t separate part numbers for .40 and .45 followers in the parts breakdown. I think I might order a .45 mag and try that. The Sig is one of my favorite carry guns and fills my hand just right, so it’s always a pleasure to shoot. The M342...well, now that’s downright painful after awhile, but I know I need to get competent with it because it’s what I’ve been carrying the most lately.

I already qualified from my Arkansas Enhanced CHCL license, but I continue to practice the drill. 20 from 3 yards, 20 from 7 yards and 10 from 15 yards. Single shots, double taps, 3 shot strings and some 5 shot strings. All timed. P320.

LOL! Thanks. Actually, that's what my instructor told me. So he made me shoot the 50 shot drill a couple of times with just my strong hand. Didn't hurt the score very much, but a few more in the 9 at 15 yards.

I was going to post a tight group target like that, but the muzzle blast kept tearing the target and setting it on fire.
