well the stars lined up and we were both able to make it to the range today. was fun as we hadnt shot together in a few months. ive been telling her about how fun my 15-22 and new 1911 .22 are, but wanted her to actually try them for herself. we each did 50 rds through both guns. her groupings were definitely good for someone who hasnt shot in a while.

even ran into a couple friends we knew including jon/trust8383 on here. great guy with lots of toys and he always lets me try out a couple. shot his suppressed m&p .22 which is always a blast and his modded shield 9mm which ive been wanting to try.

her groupings were 2-3" at about 7 yds which i thought was great for her first time shooting it. she was in the army when she was younger though so she had a head start.

we took turns doing 2x 10 rd mags in the 1911, i actually got 60 and she did 40. then we took turns doing 1x 25 rd mags in the 15-22 and we each went twice. we also shot jons m&p and i shot the shield in between. not to mention we had to wait about 45 mins so we chatted. we were actually there for about 1.5 hrs so it wasnt rushed at all.

Sounds like you both had a great shoot!

My wife said she wanted to shoot some on Monday since we have a longish weekend. No complaints here! Maybe I can get some pics of our shoot. My father built a pretty nice duelling tree that we're going to give a workout.... HOPEFULLY I'll come out on top.... (or there WILL BE NO PICTURES!)

haha she appreciates the compliment.

shes willing to go, she just hasnt been feeling well for a while. we've shot together before and she has a couple guns of her own although we need to sell her silly little pt22. plus we're already in it for the long haul.
