Given that a M44 just sold at auction for $30K, I know I will never own one but here is an interesting copy by Movie Gun Company (MGC) of Tokyo Japan who operated from 1960 to 1994 and are no longer in Business.

https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/MGC_(トイガンメーカー)

They were made for use in TV and Movies and are metal frames that are made to a slightly smaller scale than factory guns. . Although they are built differently and parts are not the same as a M44, they function and field strip just like a real gun but the Barrels are plugged and Information states they can shoot blanks but I haven't been able to find any. MGC made guns in other models including the Walther PPK which were used in James Bond movies. I'm looking for input on them and any source for parts.
