Rate of twist in M&P 9 barrels?

What is the rate of twist in M&P 9c barrels? Is there any difference from the M&P standard rate of twist or from the shield?

I looked at the S&W web site but saw nothing there.

I had heard and read that S&W went through a couple of different rates of twist with the 9mm Shields. I heard that accuracy was lackluster with the initial 9mm barrels but that later barrels had improved.

What is the story here?

Thanks for the link. It confirmed what I had heard.

Accuracy with 147 gr. bullets in my 9c is below average. With 115 good and 124 not so bad. No other manufacturer has used such a twist rate in their shorter barreled guns that I know of.

What he says. The change was, IIRC, from 1 in 16 inch twist to 1 in 10" twist. I think that happened about a year and a half ago but maybe a little longer.
