Raw Dog or Clinger Holsters

Hey guys, I know these posts are redundant but wanted a first hand review that's recent on either one of these holsters.

I own both and like them both. The Raw Dog carries my SD40VE, and the Clinger Atom carries the Ruger LC9S. So I M of no help to you, I guess.

Does the leather on the raw dog loosen the retention? My fear is as the leather forms and loosens, the retention may alter.

It does loosen up some, but you can either tighten the screws a little more or trim off some of the rubber grommets to get the shell tighter to the leather. But honestly, the way I look at it is your belt will be aiding in the retention too. I've never had any issues with it. But I believe Raw Dog has a 30 trial period. If you don't like it, ship it back for a refund.
