I don't have any pictures of a re-blued Outdoorsman 656XXX which dates it about 1935. What does this do to the value ? Blueing was not performed by sending back to the factory. The stocks are correct, but don't know if they number to the gun. The action seems usable and there is no box, tools etc. The owner wants to sell, but I think he wants me to price it. I think he knows that re-blue hurts the value for collector purposes. Thanks for any ideas what this Outdoorsman is worth.

Value would depend on a lot of things: origional grips numbered to the gun, all matching numbers (cylinder, barrel, butt, back of ejector star), quality of refinish, and most important the mechanical condition. Good clear photos would greatly help evaluate it. Price in this area would range from $450-750. Hope this helps.
