Real Supressor

Okay, I'll start it off......

AAC
AWC
GemTech
Silencerco
Yankee Hills Machine
Tactical Innovations
SRT
Liberty

Just to name a few.............

Gemtech has several nice .22LR suppressors. The G5-22 is made intentionally for 22 black guns. It is a slightly larger diameter to ascetically match the look of the gun. I am currently waiting on my stamp for an Outback IID. I opted to go this route for several reasons.
- Less expensive than the G5-22
- Smaller diameter, will be using on three different guns including a SigSauer Mosquito.
- Disassembles for cleaning. 22LR ain't the cleanest stuff around.

Check out some of the other forums that regularly have discussions on such things. There's a lot of information available out there in hyper space.

As mentioned above there are a great many to chose from.

I picked the Yankee Hill Machine Wraith simply because I liked the looks of the larger diameter on these kinda rifles. You can go blind reading from all the experts on cans telling each other how their can is the best. Probably the best of the best is Liberty. I've been to David's shop and his stuff is top shelf. I just didn't like the longer and narrow design.

Any from that list will work, and if you shot one after the other you probably couldn't tell much if any difference. The biggest decision will be if you want a take apart can or not. I'm not big on cleaning these things so the Wraith was fine for me. I'll send it back for service sometime....

Whatever you pick, don't make your decision based on trying to save a couple bucks. Buy the one you want, period.... cuz there's no sense in paying $200 for a tax stamp on a second choice can.

I use the AAC Element, and it has been well to me. It can be taken apart to clean, and is "Hollywood quite" when shooting anything below 1170 fps above that depending on the humidity and tempeture I get a slight sonic crack. I have over 10,000 rounds through it and not one problem, I clean it every 1000 rounds. It also has the quietest first round pop as tested in many different cases.

Stickbug1;
You mean "aesthetically". An ascetic is a monk who forgoes luxury.
Hope this helps

Hey I never said spelling was my strong suit. You cant be good looking and smart, so I had to choose one.

YHM MITE works good on my.22 lr collection, SIG Mosquito, Ruger 10/22GSG5pk sbr, S&W M&P 15-22 and 15-22P, when I got mine, I paid $229.25 shipped. Feel free to ask any questions.
