REASONS NOT TO DRINK BEER...

There are 4 seasons to the year...........................

Whiskey..... in front of a fireplace w/ a good book

Gin & Tonic........ on the deck on the first warm days of .....................

Beer....... from first grass cutting to last.............

more Beer.......... around a campfire with hunting buddies.

My thoughts on beer:

.I'll start with the Benjamin Franklin quote.
.I've herd it said that beer is an acquired taste. Horse feathers. I was probably about 10 or 11 years old when I sneaked my first sip of beer from my dads glass when he was engrossed in his domino game. The instant it hit my tongue I knew that this would be a thing I'd love all my life. Some times you just know....
.One's too many and 12 ain't enough
.To quote Edmond O'Brien from the movie "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance", in the scene where the bar was closed down to an election and he was just trying to get a beer. "Beer isn't drinking"

.I don't completely stop drinking beer in cold weather but I don't drink as much of it. In the summer I drink beer and mixed drinks with Vodka, gin and tequilla. In the winter I drink less beer and Burbon, sour mash and Canadian blends like Jim beam etc. (but I may slip a little tequilla now and the as well.)
. I do still long for the days when I could have a frosty cold one and a good cigar. Snubbyfan is my hero. But the beer does and adequate solo I recon.
. When stationed on Okinawa in the early 60s we could get all the Japanese beer we wanted; Ahahi, Nippon, Sapporo, etc. Shlitz was mostly the only American beer we could get And that was bad enough. One time for some reason we never learned we could only get a disgusting Filipino brew that my mind has blocked the name of, it was so gross. It was so bad that we had to cut it with tomato juice. In later years I up graded my beer and my additive. Today when I want a red beer I add Zing Zang. Goes down good on a hot day after a couple hours of yard work,

Favorite beers:
.Domestic-Shiner Black, Genuine Miller Draft. (No lite beer please)
.Imports-Negro Modelo (Mexico), Fosters Lager (Austrila), Blue Moon (Belgium)
