Rebate Magazines

I did a search and didn't find this topic covered, so please forgive me if it's already been covered.

I bought an M&P 45 Mid-Size (my 3rd M&P) in mid-May of this year. I filled out the magazine rebate form, attached the receipt, and mailed it in. Haven't received the two magazines yet, so tonight I logged in to Milano Online Rebate Inquiry and checked the status. It indicated that a "valid submission received" on May 21, 2010. It also indicated the proper magazine offer. The flyer for the rebate said to give them 8 to 10 weeks for delivery of the mags.

As of tomorrow, it will be 12 weeks since they received the submission. Should I give a call to 1-866-963-7933, or is this much delay pretty common?

My 9mm magazines came in well under the stated time frame. If it was me, I would call. No particular reason not to.

last year my rebate mags took a good 6 months to arrive

No shame in telling the truth and sharing your concern.
S&W takes care of their customers.

That is why I bought my S&W 45C (new).
If EVER an issue, covered.

They put this promo out there to get S&W owners.
Previous to the M&P I was not a fan... NOW I AM DIEHARD!

Mine is a carbon copy of yours (M&P 9c). I mailed first week of may and it says received May 21. I have not received them either. If you call let us know the result.

I went to the link you gave and it said mine was on the way back to me, and "invalid receipt enclosed". Not sure what they want from me, I sent a copy of my receipt as instructed.

I guess I'll figure it out when I get it back. I mailed it in a few weeks ago, so who knows when I'll be able to resolve this.

That is nice to hear. I'm about to purchase a MP9c (I think) the first of the week. One of the factors in helping me along was the two mag rebate. This would be my first S&W semi and I have been hinky about buying one. I'm basically a Smith wheel-gun person or Glock 19 addict. The 9c feels good and it appears the bugs are worked out from when I first looked at them. I bought a G26 then. My son has since appropriated it for his use so I am looking for a small 9. I believe this is it. - 'ole joe

I did the cash rebate and it still took about 2 months to receive this.

No, I'm in Michigan and we're not a 10-round state. My M&P 9 came with two 17-rd mags.

Here's the latest updaate... I just called the rebate company at 866-963-7933. They said that they didn't know why S&W was taking so long to deliver the mags, and that I should call S&W.

I then called S&W Customer Service at 800-331-0852. They said that the 45 ACP mags were back-ordered, and that they should be shipped to me within 10 days.

It took me 8 weeks to get mine. Id keep calling them though and stay on top of it.

Mag rebate

I have 3 M&P's. All 9mm, 5 inch Pro, 4 inch Pro (best 9mm i have ever owned including performance center 9mm's, glocks, sigs, CZ etc,) and a 9compact.
I filled out my coupon for the mags in April. Web site shoows valid submission received. No mags yet. I have since received rebate checks for pistols i purchased later. Its a production issue. These guns are so good, and becoming so popular that demand is outstripping production.

P.S. the only need for glock now is if i want a 10mm pistol

USPS, I'm in MA so I may have got them delivered sooner since they came from MA. If your farther away it may take a couple of more days. My guess is they send big batches at once, so they should be coming. Also, Milano still say's the same thing, so don't go by them to see if it shipped yet.

So is the hold up with mags in general? Or is it more specific to certain calibers? The few guys that have posted, what caliber did you order. Maybe they expected 9mm to sell a lot so they stocked up. Or maybe .45 sells exceeded expectations so they ran out. Just wandering.

This works to know that they received your rebate and it is valid. It won't tell you if your magazines shipped. I got my mags last week and Milano still shows no shipping info.

I got the 2 mags for my M&P 9pro thursday, exactly 5 weeks from the day I mailed in the rebate form. The new mags have white followers, the original mags that came with the gun had grey followers, however I don't think I'll notice the difference when get the chance to use them at the range.

mine took 3 months . 12 rd 9mm compact. called to order 3 finger ext and they said no charge, 5 days later i recived 4 in the mail.
very happy with my 3 mp's . 9c-40fs-45c

Just got my rebate back in the mail with a "sorry" notice. The date on the copy of the receipt did not show up and I didn't notice it. It took 6 weeks to make that happen, and I still have nothing. I put it back in the mail this morning, so now I get to continue to wait....again.
