Rebate Online Update

Submitted July 5th. No email confirmation, doesn't show on Milano's website still.
Hoping that mine will just show up one day.
On a rebate from another firearms related company, the check showed up in my mailbox before the Milano website updated.

I received both of my rebate checks, the worst part was not knowing if you were in the system. It took weeks before they showed on Milano website.

A quick update:
My first 3 rebates received by Milano 4/7...Checks received 6/30.
My second 2 rebates received by Milano 6/10...Checks received 8/17.
9 More to go and I'll be rich!!! :p

Mailed in my 2.0 Rebate last week! Should I get a conformation e-mail? Also will I have to sign for the package since it contains ammo?

Thank's

FYI from Milano as of 8/23; rebates being processed at this time are those having been received at the end of June. Processing meaning entered into the Milano websight. Milano did say that if an error was discovered in a rebate form they would contact the sender and allow for corrections to be made. Milano only handles paper. Smith & Wesson will provide the extra magazines, ammo and magazine loader for the current rebate offer.

So Milano is not doing the rebate for the mags, ammo, and loader (or are they doing the SN validation and S&w is doing the fulfillment)...I had asked that on another thread.

Try ZIP-Plus 4 on the Milano site

I have been checking the Milano site occasionally using only the 5-digit ZIP code and last name as suggested in an early post in this thread. It always came back with no record of the submission.

Today for some reason I let one of my form-fillers complete the boxes and it put in ZIP+4.

And BINGO! The Milano site now says they "shipped" my rebate on 8/11. I still haven't seen it, but at least I know it should be on the way.

(If someone else previously suggested using the +4 ZIP Code, I missed it.)

Updated to add: The check arrived in the mail on 8/29. So 18 days in "shipping." It is interesting that I WAS able to deposit it using my phone's banking app - the app didn't like it much when I hit Submit, and appeared to be in a continuous loop, but I just closed the app and promptly got the usual email from the bank saying it had been accepted.

I submitted my 1st on May 5th. Recieved the check Aug 12.
2nd one is now showing on the Milano site. So in 6-7 more weeks I should have that one.
3rd one should show up in a week or so...
I don't care who you are, 2 out of 3 ain't bad.

Did they notify U when order was shipped and did U have to sign for it due to the ammo?

Thank's

I'm suspecting that the Milano computer system is designed/engineered by the same folks that built the Insurance Marketplace (i.e. Obamacare Exchange).

How hard would it be to have an email automatically go out when the submission hits the processing stage?

I also wonder - if that "ship date" offered up for those that actually get that when checking rebate status - is when your rebate goes to batch processing - and they batch print checks just a couple times a month (maybe weekly) - so while it might say May 29, it might have set in a printing question for a week or two, then printed, then in a cue for mailing with many others... could explain it taking a month from shipped to receipt.

Anyone do the rebate that is for magazines and ammo?

Make sure you're entering ONLY your zip code and last name. I don't recall being asked for a phone number or dealer name when filling out the form and giving too much information will only get you a message saying there is no record.

Mine doesn't show up with JUST the zip code & name but does show up using the phone number, zip code, & name. (don't forget to backspace once after every block entry in the phone number entry area as it adds an extra digit into the next box)

A. I wish that as a WA state resdient, that I'd be able to get the $75.00
discount,, as I already have a loader, and my choice in ammo is
Double Tap.

A couple extra Shield .45 mags would be nice, but hey, give people
a choice.

B. Pretty crappy when they use another party to process the rebates.

I submitted my PC Shield 45 info and receipt (pdf) a couple days ago.
No record of it yet. No e-mail as well.

Now I wonder how many week and how many hoops I will have to jump through to get my rebate gear?

Springfield was lightning quick (27 days) to get me my Promo Gear.

That's much faster (at least to me) than the 8 mos (and a letter to their
President) for them to send me my Gear Up items for a XD-S purchase a year ago.

Got my $75 check on 9/19, submitted 6/17 and listed as shipped 9/5. So right at 12 weeks.

My Mag rebate submitted around 7/20 still haven't shown up on the Milano site.

Well my up-date...After submitting my rebate online w/the receipt on July 14 I waited and waited and waited! At 8 weeks your not in the system I called at 9 weeks I called your not in the system at 10 weeks they told me "your not in our system so guess you had better resubmit" This was for the mag rebate.
Is this anyway to run a company I think NOT!
Well went ahead and resubmitted so we'll see how long THIS TIME!!

I got my $75 rebate that I submitted back at the beginning of June 3 days ago... so both my rebates are in and done.... took a while, but they all came.

I hate to add to this thread (and I love the dead horse animation), but seriously folks...did any of you buy the item you bought ONLY because of the rebate, or is the $$ standing between you and starving the next month or two?

If not, then let's give the horse (and S&W and Milano) a break. They're GIVING you something. Try to relax!

I just received my rebate check this week (9/27) and I submitted late June (6/23.) Check comes in a very small envelope, from "MPS, Inc." Cinnaminson, NJ. 08077. It would be hard to mistake it for junk mail as the check number appears through the window in the envelope with your mail to address on it.

Not to Necro Thred, but S&W finally came through with my Rebate gear.

This was last week, and the loader too, Hornady ammo, and 2 .45
mags were A Long Time Coming!

Thanks, S&W customer service for standing behind your products and
rebates.

I might even buy that M&P 2.0 Compact now.
