Rebate

I bought a new Shield Plus recently, mostly on general principle to beat out the 11% excise tax by the state of CA. Not that I need a reason to buy a gun, but it helps to have one. Any way, I got the rebate back on a prepaid card in about ten days. Not too shabby. Somebody somewhere is doing something right.

I hate rebates. I recently bought a couple gallons of deck stain. $5 rebate per gallon. I filled everything out online and expected a gift card in the mail. Instead I got a "electronic " refund via email. I have no idea how to set this up or use it. The whole thing sucks. Liquor stores have tons of rebates. Just reduce the price. But no, they're counting on people not doing the work for a couple dollars
