Reccomend a IWB holster for a 4506

I want to carry my 4506 as my CCW gun. I need a comfortable IWB holster preferably made of kydex. Are the Blade Tech IWB models comfortable? What do you guys reccomend? Many thanks!

Depends on how much of a hurry you are in, but I would suggest a Milt Sparks Versa Max II or VMII it is called. There is probably still a six month wait on these holsters though. Another suggestion is Andrews Leather, with their MacDaniel II. Either way you will need a good belt, for that I'd suggest The Belt Man.

I aquired a Kholster. Great IWB holster. I use mine everyday for my 645. It supports the weight great when you use a good belt. You can adjust to any cant you want and also the leather backing is nice and soft against your side. The Kydex is easily formed for retention. I'm going to look into those. Thanks guys! ANyone know if the Blade Techs are good IWB holsters? Another major consideration is I would like to be able to put the holster on and off with out taking off my belt.

Skag, I can't speak to Blade-Tech but I regularly carry a CZ P-01 in a CompTac IWB and it is just as comfortable as my Kramer #3 I used to carry a Kimber Custom Royal.

"Kydex" (aka plastic) and "comfortable" should never be used in the same sentence.

When I carried mine it was in a Kramer horsehide IWB. I carried that everyday for several years. The holster still looks good and it concealed surprisingly well. I don't know how his stuff is now, mine was when he was very new on the holster scene.

I carry my 4506/645/1006 in a Desantis insider. Very well made/affordable/minimal. And you don't wait friken 1/2 a year to get it.

The Milt Sparks VM2 is well worth waiting for. Ordering can be a bit challenging as they are only taking orders on the first work day of the month. I received one last week that I ordered in April. But it is lovely.

I might try a couple of the reccomended holsters like the Crossbreed. I ordered a 4506 Blue gun and I'm having it sent to Jeff at Rocket Man holsters(RM holsters). He said he would make me a holster off the Blue gun. The Low Rider model he made for my 4516 and Glock 26 are sweet and very comfortable. I'll post pictures when it is done.
