I selected a Range Grade when contacted by the Civilian Marksmanship Program. It turned out to be what I think is a Rock Island Arsenal remanufacture of a National Match Target pistol with a Remington Rand frame using a Colt slide. The proof is shown as a Capital "T" stamped on the right side frame and a "NM" stamped on the right side of the trigger guard. The barrel bushing also has the "NM" on the face of it.

That’s a nice pistol, should be fun to shoot. I’m still waiting for my number to be called, I’ll probably try a field grade this time, got an auction pistol back in 2020. The recent update from CMP said they were going to try and get the Army to raise the lifetime limit to 4 pistols by next year. I guess I’ll start saving money in case they do do so that I can try and get a US&S if they start putting them on auction again.

I picked up a nice Colt (Auction Grade) in Round 1. I was very lucky on this Range Grade. Good luck with your next one.

Looks like one of the guns I was issued way back in the '70s when I shot on the Ft. Huachuca pistol team.
Not much for looks but a sweet shooter. Got me my first "leg".
