I received a 15 round M&P 9 magazine for my Wife's M&P 9C that I had ordered from Cheaper Than Dirt today. If you're not aware, the regular (full size) M&P 9 magazine has a capacity of 17 rounds. Since I live in the capacity limited State of Colorado, I ordered the 15 round M&P 9 magazine so my Wife would have as much legal capacity for her -9C as the ridiculous State law allows. I haven't tested it for function yet at the range, but it loads and seems to feed just fine. Smith's solution is very simple - they include a longer spring that is bunched up at the bottom, thereby limiting the magazine to hold 15 rounds (and it's only marked to 15 rounds). Quite ingenious if you ask me. My 15 round G17 magazine should arrive on Monday - it'll be interesting to compare the two different designs.
PS: I have an X-Grip mag sleeve extension on the full size magazines for her -9C.
