It's a DPM product sold and sent from Israel. If you must have a DPM product, then order it from the source, DPM System Technologies Ltd. who are, btw, located in Greece. That said, I use Big Taco's made in America steel guide rods, which can be purchased from - BT Guide Rods. Every "Operator" I know of who use Glocks install the BT's on their sidearms, as well as any other that come with plastic guide rods.

Do those springs do anything to the reliability of the pistol?

Watch his hands in the video. With-both hands stay holding to the gun, w/o-his left hand lets go... Or he lets go which would allow for more muzzle lift.
