I shoot winter bullseye league indoor so time to get ready.
Normally I load Hornady or Speer HBWC in 38 special.
This year I would like to try a copper clad bullet to be cleaner for the indoor range.
Looking at maybe Berry's either Hollow or Double end.
Would like to hear suggestions. Thanks.

Plated bullets are an abomination & should never be mentioned in any regard to precision shooting . If you're serious about Bullseye , 2 choices jacketed or lead . Unless you got deep pockets that leaves lead . Luckily both the 38 special & 45acp have been used for years to shoot Bullseye with lead bullets . The newer coated bullets rather polymer or powder coated will fit the bill . I personally have used Brazos coated bullets in 2700 matches & they shoot on par with any well swaged / cast bullet I've shot . Get them sized to your cylinder throats .

I've used their 9mm, 38, and 45 bullets and like them. They seem to have paused production for some reason. I have had an order in for 9mm 125-grain RNLs since October 26, and it's still listed as "processing". They advertise 1-3 weeks for back-ordered bullets and we're well past that. Checking through their website, just about everything is in back-order status.

They're a small business, and it doesn't take much to throw a monkey wrench into the works.

Never have had a problem with the accuracy level of Berry's plated bullets...some of the most accurate loads in .41 Magnum and .38 Super have been with their bullets.

DA at 50', the bottom bullet hole was the aiming point for the rest....8.0/Unique/210 Berry's/950 fps/657 Mountain Gun
