Greetings all,

I would like to pick up one that would work on a 1.5 inch belt and is as small and minimalist as possible. I don't want a speed strip or dump pouch, but a proper old style 2x2x2.

Suggestions for custom makers who might offer one are welcome. So far it looks like Galco is the front runner in the production category.

Thanks,
Danny

Check with Simply Rugged, or LObo Gunleather,FWIW I think Galco is overpriced.

SR and Lobo will be reasonable in price and the work is comparable if not better.

I have the Galco, which I like because the snap is black (although the paint wears off over time), making it all the more unnoticeable (compared with a shiny snap). It's held up well over the last six months. Discretion is a high priority to me, and I have yet to have anyone notice it, although I do often wear untucked shirts so that may be the reason why no one has noticed. Still, even with an tucked shirt it's pretty well camouflaged (black leather pouch against a black leather belt).

I've been using a DeSantis pouch for many years. It's a quality piece.

Look for older cast off revolver gear on Ebay. Turns up there all the time, sometimes in big boxes. You can turn up bargains. USAMike in particular always had good stuff.

My 12-year-old Galco 2x2x2:

I think that's mine getting defective as it gets older:

I'm starting to notice that every year I get older, it gets a more pronounced curve to it.... :D
