I'm looking for a different rail/handguard for my M&P15OR. I am willing to swap to a low profile gas block. I'd like to get as long as I can, and I'd rather mount accessories with bolt on rail sections rather than a quad-rail type setup. A continuous rail on the top would be fine. I use 45 degree backup sights, so there's no need to accommodate a front sight.

I'm in a small town and don't have a lot of opportunities to shop in first person.

Thanks.

Check out the Midwest Industries rail that I have posted in the picture thread. They have now come out with a keymod version that's even lighter than mine.

Love my Sampson rail. Rainier also has one made by Sampson with a different cut out pattern. It mounts similar to the Troy using the standard barrel nut but unlike the Troy, it doesn't feel like a cheese grater on your hands (at least it did to me).

My OR with low profile gas block and 12.37" Sampson Evo Rail, Primary Arms 30mm Red Dot, Magpul STR Stock, Hogue grip (now has a MOE Grip), Matech Rear Sight, MBUS Front, StreamLight Polytac Light with Gear Sector Mount.

A Troy Alpha rail is on mine. Uses the stock barrel nut.

If you're looking for a newer design, the Key-Mod system forends are nice.

That Troy system looks perfect. It looks like you have the squid grips on there. Are they nice?

JaPes, what length is your Troy Alpha? I really like the look of the Troys', especially the longer versions.
