SCSW says, "170099 M-4006 4.25" 9SH TDA Shorty40 RECON 1998" It doesn't say how many were manufactured or the price. They had the "RRS" serial prefix and were made for RSR.

This was the 'enhanced' Performance Center version of the M4006 Shorty Forty made in 1998.

'Shorty Forty but it had a compensated 4.25" barrel, white dot front sight but no white dots in the rear sight, no manual safety - decock only lever.

The other Shorty Fortys had an alloy frame. Is yours stainless or alloy?
