Red Dot for 627

looking for a red dot for my 627. Principle use will be steel challenge type events. I have a C More STS on my 625. Frankly, the lens is too small. Lots of really nice features but the dot hunt drawing from a holster is a time killer when shooting against the clock.

I have looked at the C More Railway which has a 33mm lens. Sight in seems a little clunky but I see a lot of them at the range.

The question - other ideas or suggestions?

I've got a 30mm Ultradot tube site on a .44 Mag. It's certainly durable, but kinda old school.

I have several Simmons Red Dots on my revolvers and autos. I prefer the 30 mm for the larger field. Practice, practice, practice will go a LONG ways towards eliminating problems finding the dot when presenting.

Due to vision problems, I have to use my left eye and shoot right handed. It only took me two range sessions to adapt and "get my mojo back"...

I have a couple of Ultra-Dots but reserve them for my hardkickers (they are VERY durable but a bit pricey).

A friend of mine who competes seems to like the Leupold DeltaPoint Reflex Sight. He swears by it.

I shoot Steel Challenge twice a month. This is the best. MidwayUSA.com has them on sale for $208. on a regular basis. I have a friend that was using a $600+ Aimpoint H-1 He went back to his C-More Railway. It is easy to "find" the red dot !
