When it comes to Steel Challenge forget all this tactical c**p. It means nothing and will slow you down. Co-witness? NOT! Tactical red dot? NOT!
There is the C-More Railway for those that can handle $200 for a sight and one or two others that work fairly well for less like the TruGlo Dual Red/Green Reflex sight ($65) or a Pentax HS20 ($55). Unless you have a lot of experience using a particular sight that is comfortable to use that you use on other firearms, use something that will force you to develop both-eyes open shooting skills if you can't do that now. That means an open reflex red dot not a tube type red dot.
Most of my action pistols have C-Mores on them. Both my 15-22s have something else, but they are reflex sights that are plenty bright enough for daylight use. And make sure you mount them at the far end of the receiver rail from your eye. This will help to shoot both eyes open so you can see the next target outside of the sight picture.
