Was walking around a gun store this evening and came across a sightmark mini shot reflex sight pretty cheap. was wondering if anyone has/had one or used one and their imput. not really looking to spend a whole lot of $ for a sight.

Hello, i bought the ncstar one that is idenical and i now have it on my grandson's airsoft, i really think they are all made in the same factory, with that said the ncstar has held up to a 22lr, 5.56, 12 gauge, 44mag,albeit for just a short time on each firearm, except the 22lr, and its still working, pghrich
I picked up the $40 WalMart AimPoint (1x43mm) & its great for the price.

The negative review on this link was left in 2007. The 'recoil' has no effect on the power. The link also says "online only", thats not correct ither. The RD's are in sporting goods. Red and green dot, IMHO the dot is very sharp/ focused as long as the glass is clean and the batt. is good. Lets not forget...... This is WalMart, they will return the item for any good reason. If you dont care for it or feel the need to spend more, tell they its not what you expected. More than 2 bulk pack and it has never moved! 1/2"riser and some MBUS,,,, SUCK IT RAMBO!

When it comes to red dots you pretty much get what you pay for. You will eventually have to replace a cheap one, if you need to count on it.
Everybody does not need a $500 Eotech red dot, but an Aimpoint Micro or C-More Railway can do the job for around $200. Having used many of them I don't trust too many of them below $100.
