Red dot

How far is everyone shooting with there red dot?
I sighted my in at 25yrds today. Then moved over to the 50yrd and I am shooting low. I am thinking it my be time to move up to a real scope be for even trying the 100yrds.

I do have a 3X magnifier on the way but not sure it is going to do me any good.

i can shoot my red dot at 50 sometimes i use a magnifier at 50 but i usally use it at 75-100. if you were shooting at 25 and moved over to 50 your going to have to resight your red dot a bit. once sighted in at 50 you could move to 100yrd np.

Another suggestion is to go to the Federal website and look at the ballistics chart for the ammo you are shooting.

As an example, if you are shooting 745 36gr CPHP you'll see that if zeroed at 50 yards it's also zeroed at about 25 yards. Between those two distances it will be high and anywhere else it will be low and drops off rapidly after 60 yards.
