What are affordable red dot scopes for a s&w 500?

define affordable.. I can spare $45 for one. you can pay upwards of $4-500.

You want a red dot scope for a hand held rifle. You better forget about "affordable" and start thinking "quality" if you want to take a second shot.

I have 2 Ultra Dots monted on 1911s. According to Bullseye experts, this is the best dot sight on the market at the lowest price. There are 1" and 30 mm models. Their rings mount on a standard Weaver base.

Any $39 rifle scope will last a long time on a 22 LR single shot. You need a much higher quality scope for a Browning or Winchester light weight rifle in 30-06.

This is what I put on my .500 Burris FastFire 3 with an Allchin STS mount. Couldn't be happier with it small, light weight and tough.
