Nice touch...
Makes my tags seem a bit boring...
You know...

I see what you did here.
Agreed
Then he'll probably just say that he needed a basement since his collection was increasing...You have a model 15 for $550??? I have been thinking about buying the 38S&W barrel and cylinder advertised hear and making myself a 6" 38S&W target....Probably never do it...
as for Ben, he just buys, and buys, and buys....one day we'll read about his house sinking from the weight of the Smith and Wessons.
A lot of the dealers/sellers seem like they size you up to see how much that they can ask for. Main reason they do not put prices on their wares. Around here the folks with just displays will have signs "Not for Sale".
They lay flat as illustrated below with my old hand scribbled versions...
You'll never see anything resembling a "price" on any of my guns......Ben

Once in a while I'll get talked into something new...Sometimes it works out, other times not...At least now I know what they are and what they do...A month ago I couldn't say that...The QR code is a nice touch . . .
We have the sellers who don't put prices. I learned long ago not even bother asking. They're generally way to high.
Well...if the "browsers" that stop at your table actually take time to "read" the cards/info thst you put out you're doing WAY better than are. I try to put model,sn,manaf.date along w/ other info on our tags and people will look @tag and immediatley ask about info that is clearly stated on the tag. As for pricing its in the tag& a "whats yer bottom dollar" gets ansewered with "whats yer offer".
I always tell folks, that I have a table at the gun show, so I can hang out with my buddies and talk guns all weekend...If I sell anything that is a bonus, if I don't, I still got to hang out and talk guns all weekend![]()
It seems like that is what most of them do. Never sell anything or not much. Usually the same stuff on their tables from show to show.
Read the tag?? I'm beginning to think half the people who stop by my tables can't read, especially the tag that says DO NOT HANDLE WITHOUT PERMISSION. I keep a machete handy for them.
BTW, the last show that had 6 foot tables they gave me 4 instead of 3 to make it right.
An emphatic "yes" to everything quoted...Well, maybe that 50% figure should be adjusted upwards a bit...And under glass is a good preventative but it gets tiresome windexing the boogerprints off all day...I always ask before touching anything on a table.A simple may I shows respect and ends up being my best foot forward toward making a friend or buying something.
I help a buddy at his table on occasion and I would say roughly 50% will pick up a rifle unasked. All handguns are under glass as to not worry about that.
