Hope there are those out there familiar with this website? If not...

It graphically portrays the physical characteristic of a great many handguns, and can really help if one does not have access to a bricks & mortar gun shop or range where one can more easily physically compare and handle (and, possibly, actually shoot?) various handguns.

Sometimes the advertised differences between two guns is both really and relatively minor. Often these differences don't outweigh increased costs (and practical availability). An ounce or two, a quarter inch here and there or one less round may well be worth saving half the cost?

I was amazed how the original M&P Compact (3.6") compared price- & sizewise to some other pistols, especially some of the plethora of new "high capacity sub-compacts". Also, a SCCY CPX-3 vs. the new LCP Max. The Ruger American 45 vs. a FN 45.

Lots of good factual info there and little in the way of opinion!

Cheers!

I have used that website, kind of fun to overlay 2 pistols and actually see the difference in size and where it is.
It's very helpful, especially for concealed carry pistols.

I love this website and have been using it for over 2 years.
It's the best site for undecided firearm carriers.

It is a great website. The only change I would really like to see is listing overall heights with flush-fit, pinkie extension, and extended-capacity magazines.

I only discovered it in the last 6 months or so, but it's already been useful. It helped me decide to grab a Walther PPS m2 instead of the CCP. :D
Wish they had 3rd Gens on there....

Totally agree, but since it's a (useful) marketing website, and nobody is marketing our beloved 3rd gens anymore, I get why they are left out. Still, it helped me pick my M&P 2.0 Compact 3.6. Definitely a great tool!

Try Genitron's website. Its comparison is not as slick, but it has many, many more older models.

I can't get the website to load correctly anymore, so I stopped using it some time ago, but while it still worked it was a helpful website for quick reference/comparison of firearms stats.
