Reg Cure Pro?

A program called Reg Cure Pro has showed up on my compter. It says it's a Microsoft partner. It has scanned my files and has found something like 527 'issues'. It wants me to let it correct these issues, but I have to register with them before I do; I think this may be expensive. What is this thing and is it worth while to pay for whatever they do?

It seems to be "scare ware" from what Ive googled.You should be able to delete it in whatever the install/uninstall menu is called now.

I have to be honest and say I beleived one of those utilities and used it,I eneded up having to reformat My Hard Drive.
Thank God I had backed the Computer up to a differfent hard drive a week before.

CCleaner by Piriform has been around for years, is free, and does a great job of cleaning up the registry.

Just be sure you click yes when it asks if you want to backup the registry.
