Reload charge and the shield

Well I traded off the 90grs for some 115 gr.

I have bought and devoured and continually am consuklting three different manuals. Ive also invested in some calipers and amd making sure that the OAL is within spec.

Furthermore, I got myself a rockchucker2 and some carbide dies

Its a whole different ballgame. Thanks everyone for the help and support.

I was having many questions you have and you have apparently read a lot on forums.
I am loading lead projectiles and had trouble with OAL when compared to manual published length. The trouble with my load was it did not say which nose shape. The data I was looking at was probably for round nose and I had a more of a Truncated Cone. So I put a heavy crimp on them. Then I read on a lead loading forum a thread about how to make the Boolit fit the chamber.
I loaded 5 of each load that would fit with different charges. Then loaded some with the same charge .010 shorter. The most accurate 5 were the lowest charge of Unique. Was also shooting BE. In a Wolf barrel with no leading.
These were purchased not my casting. A TC Boolit seated out to far won't chamber. And too low a charge can have bad outcome also.
Good to see you you have the manuals. You will learn something new every time you read them.
