Tonight I reloaded my 1000th round (1010 actually). I got a long way to go to catch some of you, but it is a milestone for me.

Here is a breakdown:

I reload on a Lee Classic Turret Press w/lee dies

My first reload was on 06/20/2011

150 -- 380 ACP
265 -- 9mm
100 -- 38sp
135 -- 357mag
360 -- 45colt

I have not counted all the round I have shot but it is prob. about 600-700 of what I have loaded

My guns I shoot from are:

Kel Tec P3AT -- 380 ACP
Kel Tec PF9 -- 9mm
Smith Wesson 5906 -- 9mm
Ruger SP101 (2.25") -- 357mag
Ruger Blackhawk (6.5") -- 357mag
Ruger Blackhawk (4 5/8") -- 45colt
Ruger Vaquero (7.5'') -- 45colt

The only caliber (other than .22lr) I shoot for I have not reloaded (yet) for is 45 ACP. I do not shoot this caliber much. All I have for it is my Ruger Blackhawk 45colt w/ a 45acp cylinder. I am sure I will pick up a 1911 some day and add that to my reloading setup.

Anyway just wanted to share:D

GOOD FOR YOU JED! KEEP IT UP!

When I first read your thread title, I thought your "breakdown" was that you were broke down! hahahaha

This is just the beginning, friend. As another forum member has said on more than one occasion, welcome to the addiction!

Yep! Just like smith crazy said, Addiction may soon follow.
Good Loading and even better Shooting.:):):)

Thanks guys. Not breaking down yet. Honestly I wish I had time to load more. I have a full time job and 3 kids (14, 3, and 1) and free time doesn't come that often.

The crazy thing is last weekend I had a chance to go shoot, but I just had a package of new lead bullets arrive in the mail Friday and had picked up a new type of powder......I stayed home and reloaded instead of shooting:eek:

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

SORRY!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

:D

I often find handloading more relaxing and fulfilling than actually shooting. No dealing with people at the range, no lugging stuff around, and no cleaning guns afterward. :D Just cranking out perfect little rounds.

Way to go TennJed! when you reach 1 million you should be an old pro! LOL :)

Hey add to your hobby try casting your own bullets! After a while you will have suppies that will serve your needs for many years to come and even pass down!

Tennjed,

I know what you mean, I took 30 years off from shooting to Work Way Too Much and raise a family.

Well, pretty soon retirements here and I'm now making up for lost time.

Started shooting a lot, reloading, and I'm now studying about casting while I gather tools and supplies. Next Spring is really going to be an interesting and busy one. :D:D:D

Didn't take as long as you thought, did it?

Nope it really didn't. I can see why people say you end up spending more reloading. Currently trying to justify stockpiling large amounts of lead in all my calibers......figure I need to go ahead and get a few thousand of each......but if I do that i will need ALOT of primers......and those 8lb powder containers do make sense......oh and brass.....lots and lots of brass:D

re; "picked up a new type of powder......I stayed home and reloaded instead of shooting:eek: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

SORRY!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

this ^^^

when you find PREPARING to shoot is as enjoyable as GOING to shoot, you'll know you have not only a 'condition' but a 'remedy' as well!!!

HARHARHARdeHAR....er..."welcome to the club"
