Where do you guys find load data for the copper plated lead bullets ? I want to load some Extreme 124gr RN bullets for 9mm target practice. I have HP38, Bullseye, and Win 572 on hand.

Is there a general rule about how to load these bullets ?

Lots of data for the old w231 powder and the 124gr "Copper" bullets, made.

W231 will work with the 124gr 9mm bullet from starting loads to maximum loads, in most pistols
and have several "Sweet spots" along the way, with different OAL lengths, tossed in.

572 is a new powder that is great for high fps but not having any,
I sure would like to see what it can do between 800-1,000fps,
for light target work.

Have fun.

In my 3.5" barrel, with w231 powder. for light target loads with
the extreme 124gr bullet at a OAL of 1.14", my chrony reads, +/- 944.

When I shorten up the OAL to a OAL of 1.12", with a full load the
124gr plated bullet averaged 1064fps.

Max out of my 5" pistol hits 1153fps, with w231 powder.

Unique powder in the 5", does 1267fps.

A 3" Kahr, 3.5" & 5" pistol all function and eject the cases with a
light load of w231 at 4.0 grains with a OAL of 1.14", for me, for my lightest, "Accuracy load".

Good loading.
