Remember that auction for a single round of ammo?

I keep thinking to myself it's just a joke until I saw the bids? I guess there really is a sucker (or three) born every minute.

Thanks for being willing to have shipped it to California, we appreciate that you understand that we need ammo too......

Not allowing single round auctions is not right. I used to collect cartridges and was thinking of selling off the collection. All I have is single examples because I could never afford full boxes of things like 404 Gibbs, 6.5 Dutch Rimmed, Tropical, or 30-06 Frangible, even if you could find them.

Selling single ctgs is very legitimate, guess I'll have to go to Auction Arms.

That's the whole thing, IMO. I didn't do ANYTHING against policy and I got shafted because GB got pissed at the bidders but took it out mainly on me. Single round listings are common but I got torpedoed.

I hope it was just me and this doesn't screw up cartridge collectors trading single examples because that's certainly a legitimate offering.

And I still think GB owes me for about $100,000 in free advertising. This auction story was a topic on numerous online general news sites and in at least one newspaper someone sent me.

Update: As of this morning my account appears to have been reinstated without comment.

My apologies once again to Gun Broker personnel and anyone else caused inconvenience by my actions.

I will offer the whole box of 45s including the famous one in a few days after we have had a chance to recover. Proceeds will be donated to the Fallen Warrior Project to help families of military people who lost their lives serving their country.

Thanks.

Um... correction. Thought my account was open but it's not. Oh well. Eventually...
