Remington 1100s seem to have gone up drastically in price in the last few years, like most old school blues and walnut guns. I found this one yesterday in a pawn shop for $319 plus tax. The reciever doesn’t have much finish if any left on it as you can see in my crappy pic. But mechanically it’s in great shape and the wood has no cracks or defects, other than the finish shows use of course. 12 ga, 2 3/4 chamber, fixed modified choke. Got it for $319+ tax. I think I did pretty well and intend to make it my truck gun. My other 1100 nearly looks brand new so I try to be more careful with it.
How’d I do?
The thought of having the barrel shortened to 24” and threaded for REM chokes has crossed my mind as well….
