Sold to bored350:
Remington 597 .22LR semi-auto, with 3-9x32 rimfire scope. Synthetic stock, parkerized finish. Three or four magazines if I can find all of them. One has only been used twice.
This was the first rifle I bought. I shot a LOT of .22 through it. It still goes bang but has a bad habit of stovepiping rounds. It fired out of battery on me once and took out the extractor in the process. I had that replaced by a local gunsmith, hoping it would help the stovepipe problem. No such luck.
It's a fairly accurate rifle - rapid fire at 50yd will easily give 2" groups. I don't have time or inclination to continue fighting with it to fix the stovepiping. It may be as simple as clipping a coil off the recoil springs, or just giving the whole bolt assembly a good hosing down with cleaner (although I have tried that). It may be un-fixable.
If you're looking for a project rifle, this is it. No rust last time I pulled it out of the safe, but the stock has a few scratches and a bit of dirt on it.
$75 FTF or +shipping to your FFL. (New mags are $10-15 by themselves, rimfire scopes are $50+.)
Also see below for trade items I'd consider.

SPF: Remington 760
I bought this rifle several years ago from a friend's father who was no longer able to hunt. I shot it a couple times to check function (it works beautifully), then cleaned it and put it away. There is a tiny bit of honest muzzle wear and a small chip in the finish on the buttstock - no wood damage, just a nick in the gloss.
The scope is a Weaver fixed power (3x or 4x, not sure) with the older-style fine horizontal and a vertical post, no upper "hair". There is a small ding in the end of the scope tube that doesn't affect function.
Sling is 1" basketweave tan leather.
I'd like to get $450 shipped to your FFL ($475 if they won't accept from an individual), FTF for $425.
(If FTF, I have several boxes of .30-06 ammo of various weights that can be dealt with also.)
Trade items I'm looking for +/- cash:
S&W Ladysmith 60 (.38+P or .357)
S&W 36-? 2"
Ruger Single Six (both cylinders)
Ruger LCP
Ruger 22/45 Hunter 6-7/8"bbl
Glock 9mm (17/19/26)
Glock .45ACP (36)
AR upper w/BCG, most calibers
Springfield XD-9 or XD-45
(All magazines must be NY-legal - either pre-ban or 10-round.)
