I know a lot of folks do not like GB's, but they are on sale now for $27.98/brick
with a $10 per box rebate (up to 3 boxes).
That works out to less than $20/brick including tax for me.
I bought 3 boxes this morning.

Has Remington improved the Golden Bullets? That price is great, but if they don't work, the brick will make a good doorstop..

Just my opinion of course but unless someone can unequivocally tell me otherwise, Remington's .22 ammo isn't worth the box it comes in. I would not buy any for half of the sale price as it has proven to be about the worst junk a Company can sell in 22 LR.

Again, my apology's to Remington IF THEY FINALLY got their act together and started producing quality ammo - but my experience has told me otherwise. Winchester isn;t far behind. My ammo of choice is the following in this order.

CCI
Federal
American Eagle (re-branded federal)

If REALLY REALLY desperate:
Winchester
Remington

Had a nothing but issues with the Remington 22lr in the bulk box. It was a real chore to shoot through the whole box with all the duds. They were also very weak and wouldn't function in my 22 semi-auto rifles that pretty much ate anything else up. I never investigated further on the brand as I won't purchase them again. If they work for you in you application than you got a good deal on functioning 22lr ammo.

Here in Reno the Remington bucket of 1,400 22 ammo went for $89.99
with the Federal Auto Match box of 325 for just $18.99.

Things are getting better, slowly.

I had bought 2 1400 round buckets of Golden Bullets for $71ea at Walmart when they had them several months ago.

They shot well in an S&W 15-22 and Ruger SR22

A buddy of mine just messaged me that he'd ordered a brick (or two?) or Agilla .22 from Sportsmanguide, using their current no-minimum free shipping, for around $24 delievered.
I'd go with this over any grubby,wet-firecracker Rem. stuff, any day. :D

The junk Remington ammo that fails to go bang now and then............
is great stuff for the kids to use. They don't care if it does not go "Bang".
Just keep that ammo, coming. :D

Now if you are hunting.................
