I'm considering buying a RM .380. Anyone have any experience with these? Thanks.

No personal experience, but I see them advertised with $100 rebate with final price of $109 or less.
Even for that price, I'm not buying one.

Had one and it was flawless. The trigger takes getting used to as it breaks almost as it gets to the frame. Very accurate. True double action with second strike capability.

I have one it shoots great and runs flawlessly but the magazine releases in my pocket because of the ambi mag release,Making it useless for pocket carry.

got a display model for $214.00 OTD. with the rebate it makes it a brand new gun for $114.00. went back the next day and got the other display model for the same price. I can shoot good groups with it out to about 10 yards which I think that's about what it's good for & it eats factory loads & my reloads with no problems.

I have one and carry it often. I've never had a problem with it. Kydex holster that covers the mag release keeps that from being an issue. If you like DAO pistols then you won't have any issues with the trigger. It's the only one of the new Remington pistols that is worth a damn IMHO. It is a Rohrbaugh for all practical purposes after all.

The trigger on the one I dry fired is abysmal, along with the BG and most other pocket pistols except for Ruger. I bought a Ruger Custom LCP and it is great for farm carry, and it has an acceptable trigger pull.

The RM380 is a fantastic pistol. Mine had a trigger pull in the 8-3/4 pound range initially and would stack harshly right before the break which I didn't care for so I made a new, shorter hammer spring seat to correct it. Dropped the weight to 7-1/2 pounds and it is smooth as butter with no more spring stack. There's also a spring kit available to do the same but the seat mod is simple and basically free. Anyone interested? I'll show you exactly what I did.

The RM380 has been my edc since March. I have put about 700 rounds through it at the range with ball, HP and Lehight Defense hydrostatic bullet rounds. Never a failure of any kind. Excellent accuracy. FantStic gun with. A heavy DAO trigger, which is quite manageable with a bit of dry fire practice

I installed the Galloway Precision recoil, hammer, and firing pin springs which reduced recoil seven more, and it was low in the beginning. The out of the box trigger pull on mine was about 9 pounds and a couple ounces. The spring changes took that down to just a tad over 7 pounds. After putting a few hundred rounds through it is now just a hair over 6.5 pounds.

There is a long reset on the trigger. It took about a half hour at the renGe to get used to it to the degree that you get the feel of it. It is not a problem for me .

I highly recommend the gun the all metal construction also helps in absorbing recoil and the slide rails run the entire lengths of the receiver unlike the small rails embedded in polymer pistols. I think that assures less long term wear. I love the gun.
