remooner for 40 s&w in my 610

Just bought a new S&W 610. I have 3 S&W 625's so I am very use to moon clips.
My demooner works fine for removing spent shells but the remooner, which is obviously for 45 ACP, doesn't due to the shorter over all length of the 40 S&W.

Any suggestions?

Yep use Rimz plastic moon clips. I load them with my fingers in seconds and use my super demooner to unload them which i can also do with my fingers. Other than every once in a while cracking a moon clip i have never had a function problem

I shoot 10mm, not 40 in my 610's. I find them so easy to insert in the clips that a tool simply isn't necessary. They go in much, much easier than 45acp. Personally I dislike the skeleton style of clips sold by S&W. I buy the solid body clips MidwayUSA - Scherer Full Moon Clip 10mm Auto 6-Round Steel Matte Package of 5 .

Use one for my 625 and love it. There are videos on his website that show loading and unloading.

That is what I do also, I haven't bothered getting a tool to load them.

I use what looks like a long screwdriver demooner, it stores the empties in the tube until you dump it, I think it will hold 10 or so 10mm empties.

I use an average Black Sharpie, I put the clip on the sharpie, then us my thumb to seat the round. I seems to prevent bending the clip, when you encounter the occasional stubborn round.
