Replacement screws

I imagine screws for guns made in the last 20-30 years are still available from S&W but are replacement screws readily available for 1930-1980 guns?

E.g. would I have a hard time finding sideplate screws for a 1954 K frame?

Factory has them, tell them you want the small side plate screw. Don't give them the year - that will mess with thier mine, just tell them it is for a 27 .

I told them side plater screws for a 29-2 and they said they were out. They had the flat head ones, though and they sent me 2-no charge.
