Is there a replacement trigger for a 45 ACP model 25? I would prefer a narrow smooth profile for double action shooting over the wide "target" serrated triggers I've seen. thanks.
Dan
Narrow, smooth N frame triggers are few and far between ( that haven't been messed with ). I would use the narrow serrated version and grind off the serrations with 400 to 600 grit and then buff/polish it. It's very easy to do and only takes a few minutes even with a dremel style tool.
Get the ribbed Power mainspring from Wolff, it's the cats meow for easy rapid fire work BEFORE you spend seriuos $ on a action job.

>> Oh, the reduced power version mainspring with 3 rebound springs.<<
I had a smooth target trigger installed in several of my N frames at S&W. It was in between the wide target trigger & the narrow style. Of course, The original triggers were returned to me in the plastic bags that the service center used.
S&W made both CCH and SS .312" and .400" smooth combat triggers back in the day.
These are quite commonly available, the .312" being more so.
Assuming they haven't been messed with, they will usually drop in a K/L/N revolver.
I have swapped various of these into most of my 4" revolvers that are fired double action.
IMHO, the .500" "target" trigger is ill suited for DA shooting.
