Noah carried “clean” animals in pairs so they could reproduce. That’s why I have reloading toll and supplies to supplement those 12 rounds. 
I'm going with my Henry .45-70 with 8 rounds of remington 405gr and 4 rounds of underwood hardcast 430gr+p just in case.
I don't have any to choose from because of the silly boat accident.. never trust Noah on a maiden voyage... lol

A Glock with at least a 12-round capacity would make a lot of sense here. Not knowing what we might encounter, maybe I'd want a 10mm: G20.

I totally agree with you. As an adventure rifle I carried a 94 Winchester halfway across the Rocky Mountains. But as I age, iron sites are a thing of my youth, so I got a MK2 internation in 308. Added a 4x compact Leupold and I have a lightweight big game rifle. Let my 12-year-old grandson use it on his first big game hunt. Needless to say, I no longer have a Ruger 308 International.

^^^^^this. Extended magazine, 4 #4 buckshot, 4 00 buckshot, 4 slugs.
Load: slug, 00bk, slug, 00bk, slug, 00bk, so as to fire bk/slug, & so on.)
4 #4bk, 1 slug, and 1 00bk in side saddle.
Daily plan: Condition yellow. Avoid any contact from outside. Defend the ark.
Plan for CQB: Repel boarders. Fire 2 rounds & assess until mag depleted. Use only as many rounds as necessary. Reload remaining 4#4bk, slug, 00bk. Hope it's enough. Prepare yourself for dirt nap. Have a sincere chat with the Supreme Entity. Maybe leave a note for whoever finds you. Go down fighting if at all possible. If not possible, use last round of #4bk as you see fit.
Sounds like a plan............For a scenario I had never conceived in my wildest imagination. I reckon it might buy a little time, but it is more'n likely a losing proposition if there is any shooting anticipated.

great plan, but keep your head down, because more than an ark it looks like a wasp's nest, I think it will be a big problem for anyone who will attempt the assault.
