Revolver addiction

It's getting harder for me to browse a gun shop without bringing home an orphan revolver. Who could leave this little guy alone in the display case? Of course I brought it home with me.
It's a 10-5 serial # C921XXX. If I am correct that would be late 66 or early 67 model. Not bad for 50 years old.
I went to the shop to look at a Model 19 snubbie that I had seen earlier. It didn't check out to good. Very loose . The Model 10 was excellent, tight as a drum, good lockup. I'll get better pictures soon.

Looks excellent and yes it would have been hard to leave it there.
I have yet to see anything but beat up revolvers at the only pawn shop near me and they still were asking $700.

...well taken care of and from the amount of wear on the blue little used. And almost certainly ever carried. Probably spent 50 years in a sock drawer.

I have a problem resisting J-Frames but, If I find a Mdl. 10 Round But in 2" that I can aford, I will be very interested.

Well, obviously you had to buy it as that is the only reasonable course of action when confronted with a situation like that. It sounds like the same way I ended up with a flat latch 2" pre model 12 with original diamond grips in the same gently used condition as your model 10. The local Gander Mountain had it labeled as a "model 37" and priced at $399...in the same case with beat up police surplus DAO 4046`s that were a whopping $825 apiece.

The last time my young daughter was with me when I cracked open my safe she looked inside and exclaimed "DANG...you got a PROBLEM!" Indeed I do...not enough revolvers in there.

Placing that in the $600-700 range.............

I had the same problem a couple of years ago. I found a 64 or 65 10-5 snub like yours, in gorgeous condition. I paid $425 for it and was happy to do so. I also found a gorgeous Dan Wesson 14 snub for $300+something and adopted it, too. Both are great shooters. Both were unfired and long overdue to lose their virginity. I took both of them down a dirt road at my hunting camp and had my way with them. They are equally happy with HBWCs, LSWCs, and Hornady lead "cowboy" bullets.

I'd have been all over that one, too. I love K-snubs. 6 shots, and they fit most people's hands very well. Not too big, not too small.

Very common gun in very uncommon condition. You have a survivor.. The majority of 50 year old service guns are well used.
