Anyone installed the Meprolight night sight set on their revolver? I noticed they have an adj. set that replaces the rear blade and the front orange insert, or the front pin in sight.

Please give feedback and post pictures if you have them.

Yes KM,
Better than a dozen sets. In fact, my Wifes and my bedside guns are both wearing them. They're both due for replacement this year (09') one set is 10 years old, the other eleven.
If you look in the "FAQ's" section, you'll find all the info you'll need to do the job. Between the info available there, and the instructions from Meprolite, it should be a fairly easy job for anyone handy. If you run into trouble, you've got this place to throw you a life preserver!
BTW, WELCOME!

Sorry KM?
The photo's are beyond my technical expertise?
Basically what they'll look like till nearly total darkness, is a standard set of white "3-dot" (2 rear-one front) sights. As the ambient lighting fades, the dots begin to gently glow. Once your eyes are fully acclimated to the darkness they appear quite bright. But, DO NOT make the mistake many sometimes make! They offer absolutely NO advantage in daylight. So don't expect them to be as bright as a fiber optic sight set is during the day.

Spot, I thought polygamy was not allowed on the Left Coast.

Here you go, KM. My trusty 3" 686 wearing Mepro sights:

EXCELLENT PICTURES! THANKS!
As to polygamy? I'd start with my Wife's best girl friend and former business partner first I think? I'm on my best behavior though, due to both of them being excellent shooters, and her girlfriend has a double black belt. (dammit!)
I think that was written post pulling the cork?

Great pictures, and thanks for the info from everyone. Very nice revolver and he sights look great. I would love to put a set on my 629 Mountain Gun, but Meprolight doesn't make them for a Mountain Gun (taller front sight). I'll have to pick another to put these sights on.

KM,
Purchase a second front sight blade from S&W or Brownell's, then send it into Tooltech (Trijicon's machine shop) and have them install a Trijicon vial, in your customer provided front sight. Then at your discretion, you can purchase the standard Meprolite sight set for the red ramp insert replacement type, then use only the rear sight out of that set. Benefit being, I'll buy your unused red ramp replacement insert half of the set, paying half your cost of the full set.
Sometimes ya' just gotta' skin a cat from the inside out!
Let me know if you'd like to do it that way. My E mail is in my profile.

Does anybody know if these will fit the J frame Model 60? The meprolight website does not seem to indicate this. If not, does anybody actually have any kind of night sight or fiber optic sight installed?

I have an Ashley big dot on one of my J-frames, but I seriously doubt I would be able to hold it still enough to take a decent picture....After 14 years of dipping I finally quit 3 days ago and needless to say I am going through the DT's pretty bad....ha
