A few years ago I purchased from a member of this forum about four racks for my revolvers to sit in the safe. They are made of oak, with felt lining for the barrels. I had special maroon lining instead of the green. The racks hold eight revolvers and four revolvers. My question is: who made the racks and are they still available to purchase? I have lost that information.

I bought one from the classifieds here, years ago, that sounds very similar. I can't remember the seller's name but he sold a bunch of them here at the time. They were/are very nice. I still have it. It's holding guns as we speak. :) If my memory is correct, he was in North Carolina.

Something like this?

The sides on the lower one are very similar, but the revolvers sit with the barrels pointing up, grips on bottom. This takes less space in the safe. The revolver stand can be placed up against the back of the safe.
Perhaps Robspeire can post the picture of one.

I am going to make a mockup & post when I get it done tomorrow. Personally I think the hand guns should be leaning back some.

& if it was wider depth wise a few dowels could be on the back for J- frames. Plan on playing around a bit.

I do like how the edges have been dressed up with a router on
the one Faulkner posted thou.

Kevin,
Does this look familiar? Pictures of his racks in post #37. Looks like it might be to me.

If it is, unfortunately, he took a lot of orders, built a quality product, spent all the money, but did not fill all the orders!
I was one of the screwees. It is the only time I have not gotten what I paid for on this forum. Sorry for the rant, and maybe it was another seller.
