Riflescope storage and transport?

I've thought about this for while...

I have five nice riflescopes that I change out on rifles- I never leave them on them for storage- they just store better out of the safe that way. Especially when I wedge everything in there as tight as I do!

I usually put them on at the range- all of these scopes are "regular" size- none of those long ones like Unertl or like goes on Sharps or Henry rifles, so there is nothing odd to worry with.

I thought about getting one of those nice leather cases and somehow getting those thick gunsocks to put them in.

If you have a better suggestion, I'd like to hear it.

How about a Pelican case with a cutout for each scope.

Go to Home Depot and in the tool box area they have a nice metal case like the Winchester cases. It is about 18 inches long, 12 inches wide and 5 inches deep. All you need to do is add some foam with cut outs for your scopes. The price is about $30 IIRC.
