I've recently noticed that RIG Universal Grease is no longer available and have seen several threads on other forums about Birchwood Casey buying the RIG products and distributing them. All I found on the Birchwood Casey website was a product called SNO Universal Gun Grease.

Doe anyone have any experience with the BC product? If so, do you think it performs as well as RIG Universal grease?

Give it time Birchwood-Casey said it would be marketed under the RIG brand name. Either email them, or use some other product for a couple of months. It's good that it will still be available.

Glad I still have half a tube of RIG left..
But don't have that many guns to put in staorage anymore as the "Change" Has made me unemployed & most of my "Babbies" are gone to guys with money.. SUCKS!!

Birchwood Casey makes a product called Sheath, it is an excellent rust protectant. I have used it for years with complete satisfaction. It is available in a tin like gun oil and as disposable wipes like Wash-N-Dri.
