I tried tumbling and polishing of the brass and worked great. Brass looks like new. Now one more thing. Is it a good idea to rinse and dry the brass after tumbling or not necessary ?
Unnecessary. I don't believe it would help anything. There was a time long ago where some media had rouge in it. I decided to wipe each case before resizing just so it wouldn't gum up the die (probably wouldn't have - who knows?). Been doing this for 37 years and haven't seen one resizing die damaged. Good luck!
I toss the newly tumbled cases on a towel and wipe a bunch of them all at once after tumbling. It may not be needed, but it only takes a couple of minutes. Besides, my hands stay cleaner by wiping them.
Yes you need to rinse your brass after wet cleaning either ultrasonic or steel pin tumbling to remove any residual cleaning media. Dump the wet brass on a towel to get most of the water off and then spread them out to dry. You can use the sun or an oven on low heat to speed the drying.
